You say tomato; I say tomahto...

Tomato Preserves Tomato preserves are relatively unknown in this country, but they are extremely delicious as the fruit's flavour becomes intensified through cooking and sweetening. The Tomato Stall nursery supplies us with the cocktail vine tomatoes in our new product range. The nursery has grown tomatoes in the Arreton valley, nestled in the heart of the Isle of Wight, for over 20 years. The Tomato Stall bring the freshest, ripest and tastiest organic and conventional tomatoes from Wight Salads on the Isle of Wight, to Farmers' Markets and a select number of farm shops in the South of England.

Tomato Jam This most simple of tomato jams reminds us that tomatoes are a fruit, and one of the very best. Cocktail vine tomatoes are spectacularly sweet and thick skinned. Mace and salt bring out their flavour perfectly. Use as a spread on crusty bread or sandwiches, as a nice topping on grilled dishes or as a perfect accompaniment to any picnic or barbecue. Try it. If you love tomatoes, you'll love this.

Tomato & Plum Jam A delightful and surprising jam, which is spicier than most plum jams, sweeter than tomato sauce, and unique in its brilliant rust red colour. It pairs perfectly with sharp aged cheese, and it also adds a vivid burst of flavour to meats.

Tomato Marmalade Tomato marmalades are the perfect partners for crackers, rye bread, or sourdough. A vibrant marmalade, rustic in texture, lightly spiced with saffron. Try with a coarse pate or a nutty, well-aged Farmhouse cheddar.

Lemon & Ricotta Muffins with Tomato Jam
Delicious served with a sharp zesty salad.

Pistachio & Orange Blossom/Rosewater Meringues
A naughty treat best enjoyed with fresh fruit and a dollop of creme fraiche or cream.
